Editorial Policy
These principles guide how AllCryptoToday researches, writes and corrects its content.
Accuracy and corrections
We strive for factual accuracy. If we make an error, we correct it promptly and note significant changes.
Independence
Editorial decisions are independent of commercial relationships. Sponsored content is always labelled.
How we research and fact-check
Every article starts from primary sources: protocol documentation, on-chain data, exchange and regulator filings, and official announcements. Market data comes from CoinGecko and is fetched automatically rather than typed by hand, so prices on the site reflect the API rather than someone's recollection. Where a claim is contested or a number is an estimate, we say so in the text instead of presenting it as settled. Articles that carry a "Fact-checked by" line were reviewed by a second person who checked the figures and sources independently of the author. If we get something wrong, we correct it and note material changes rather than editing quietly.
How we calculate predictions
Price prediction pages are statistical, not editorial: no analyst picks a number. We take the coin's full available daily price history — up to ten years — measure daily returns and volatility, and project the price log-normally. The central path grows at the historical drift, which we shrink toward zero and cap within a fixed band so that a single unusual year cannot dictate a five-year trajectory. The range around it widens in proportion to volatility and the square root of the horizon, which is why forecasts far out show very wide bands. The output is an estimate of a plausible spread of outcomes, not a target price, and it is not investment advice. Every prediction page shows the parameters used and the timestamp of the last recalculation.
Our authors
Articles are written under named bylines with a stated area of expertise, and each author has a profile page listing everything they have published on the site. Where an author is credited, that person is responsible for the claims in the piece.
